ARCHAEOLOGY ODYSSEY RESOURCE CENTER

Biblical Archaeology Society
4710 41st Street NW
Washington, DC 20016

Archaeology Odyssey is a colorful, exciting and informative journey to the ancient roots of the Western world. AO appeals to readers' sense of beauty, to their feelings of wonderment, to their longing for adventure and travel--and to their conviction that the past has many stories yet to tell.

AO is published by The Biblical Archaeology Society (BAS), founded in 1974 as a nonprofit, nondenominational, educational organization dedicated to the dissemination of information about archaeology in the Bible Lands. BAS educates the public about archaeology and the Bible through magazines, books, visual materials and seminars. Our readers rely on us to present the latest that scholarship has to offer in a fair and accessible manner. BAS serves as an important authority and as an invaluable source of reliable information.

Magazine
Archaeology Odyssey is the newest magazine to come from BAS. Its lively and informative articles, written by top scholars, combined with lavish illustrations and photography, have quickly attracted a wide audience eager to learn more about the ancient worlds of the Mediterranean. Like its sister publication, Biblical Archaeology Review, AO publishes a yearly Dig Issue, featuring a volunteer dig guide with information on sites in Greece, Syria, Italy, England, and more.
